The 2nd International Festival of Falconry was held again at Englefield Estate, Near Reading, Berkshire. This was a magnificent and colourful affair, which falconers and raptor admirers attended from 30 falconry nations.
There was plenty to see and enjoy – a great opportunity to either photograph the many different raptor species on display, or to interact with falconers on a global scale. Even for non-falconers, there was plenty to experience with many diverse cultures; dressed in their national costumes was a rare privilege to bestow. Many had brought along their own species of eagle, falcon or hawk – The Noble Art of Falconry is very much alive! and prospering Worldwide...
