Object of the Charity

To advance education of the public in the artwork, life and skills of George Edward Lodge.

Activities

This website will be devoted to portraying all aspects of the life of George Edward Lodge. It will include:

  • Biographical Information
  • Reproductions of his artwork
  • Representations of his diaries and memorabilia belonging to him
  • Ensuring that irreplaceable items and records are not lost

The trust will build up a directory of artwork and artefacts of George Edward Lodge endeavouring to determine what is available, where it is located and whether it is possible to be viewed.

The trust will make available artwork and artefacts of George Edward Lodge for those wishing to gain a greater understanding of him and his artwork and techniques.

The trust will build an historical picture of falconry in the 19th and early 20th Centuries based particularly upon the artwork, records and diaries of George Edward Lodge but expanding to incorporate other sources as these become available.
